How to use this tool
- Choose whether the page should be indexed.
- Choose whether crawlers should follow its links.
- Add any caching, image or snippet restrictions.
- Copy the generated tag and place it in the page head through your CMS or code.
Understanding the result
Noindex tells compliant search engines to remove a page from results after they recrawl it. Blocking that same page in robots.txt can prevent crawlers from seeing the noindex directive.
Practical guidance
Use restrictive directives only for a clear reason. Confirm important pages remain indexable after changing SEO plugins, templates or staging settings.
